It can often be a little confusing on what is actually meant by ‘Private Road Insurance‘? Below is a list of things that could be insured on a Private Roads Policy:
- Private Road
- Private Drive or Private Driveway
- Private Lane
- Private Alley
- Private Roadway
- Private Pavement
- Private Street
- Private Track
- Private Trail
- Private Way
- Private throughway
- Private Path
If you have any of the above on your Private Property or Private Land then you really need to consider taking out Private Road Insurance.

You may also want to consider Engineering Cover if you have any of the following:

- Electric Barriers
What if I have Trees on my Land?
You may want to consider taking out ths cover if you have trees around your Private Road. It will cover you for removal and lopping of trees deemed dangerous to the public.
What is the very least level of cover I need?
Obviously you need cover for every aspect of your private road, but at the very least you should have Public Liability Insurance.
Do I need Employers Liability?
